This is a quick post that may help someone who is thinking of switching to a Mac sometime soon and wants to know what sort of stuff they can do in OS X. I’ll try to write some more about the cool features of OS X that I have found as I remember them.
Anyway, the zoom function. In OS X, if you hold the control button and use the scroll wheel on your mouse (or drag two fingers up or down your trackpad if you have a laptop) you can zoom the display. To use this feature you may have to enable it in system preferences.
I hadn’t really thought about it until just now, but this feature is pretty useful, especially when you are watching a video embedded in a web page that doesn’t have a zoom or full screen function, you just ctrl+scroll and you get the video at pretty much full screen
